That's how long it took into the new year before a life was taken on the streets of Delaware County.
Police in Chester responded to reports of a shooting on Pennell Street just after 1 p.m. Monday. When they got there, the victim already was being transported to Crozer-Chester Medical Center in a private vehicle.
The 18-year-old died at the hospital.
It's the first homicide of 2019, for both the city and the county.
