We're having a Hart attack: Welcome to hockey season

Welcome to hockey season.

Yes, the Super Bore is over.

The Eagles are no longer defending Super Bowl champs.

Hell, even Carson Wentz gathered a few hand-picked reporters to tell his side of the now infamous Philly Voice story. I guess our invitation went into our spam mail. Thanks, Carson.

On to more important things.

Let's talk about the Flyers, in particular Carter Hart.

For as long as I can remember, the Flyers have had lots of talent and one big problem, one big hole in their lineup.

Unfortunately, it was usually between the pipes.

Not anymore.

If you don't know him know, brace yourself for the next Philly sports superstar.

Carter Hart has put the Flyers on his back and is carrying them in the direction of a possible playoff spot that a month ago would have gotten you laughed at.

And he's doing it at 20 years old.

Carter Hart is the biggest hockey story in this town since Eric Lindros.

Last night he made 41 shots to stone the Canucks and lead the Flyers to their seventh straight season. A month ago they were dead in the water. Today they're the hottest team in hockey, and just five points out of the playoffs.

Move over Joel Embiid. You too, Carson.

It's Hart attack time.
