Goodbye, Nick; Welcome back, D-Jack

Goodbye, Nick Foles.

Welcome back, DeSean Jackson.

It was a busy day on the Eagles beat yesterday. Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles is cashing in. Reports indicate he will sign a four-year, $88 million deal to be the new starting quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

From one Jack to the new "Jack." D-Jack, as it were.

The speedy wide receiver who was unceremoniously given his walking papers by Chip Kelly is returning to the Birds. The 32-year-old wide receiver looks as fast as ever. Last year he led the NFL in yards per catch, although he did miss several games with injuries. Looks like he's getting a three-year deal for $27 million.

QB Carson Wentz couldn't resist going on Twitter to welcome Jackson back to the nest, saying he would "just stand there and throw the ball as far as I can and you can go and get it."

And that's not all the Birds did. Howie Roseman had a busy day.

He signed veteran left offensive tackle Jason Peters to a one-year deal, and also signed Malik Jackson, who will immediately shore up the defensive line, which will be missing Timmy Jernigan and Michael Bennett.
