In Harrisburg, they are taking a new tack in the battle to deliver justice for victims of childhood sexual abuse.
It now looks like once again a serious push is being made to eliminate the statute of limitations for such crimes, as well as expanding to window a victim has to bring civil action against their molester.
These are important changes.
But that will only apply to future cases.
For the scores of victims of decades-old abuse - often at the hands of some of the most trusted people in their lives - the push to get them their day in court now seems to be taking a detour.
Call it justice delayed.
