2 days, 2 stories, 2 DUI tragedies

For the second straight day, our lead story focused on the horrors of drunk driving.

Tuesday it was the saga of the DeRosa family, and the heartfelt testimony of a mother and father who lost their daughter to a repeat drunk driver.

Today it's the case of a man charged with vehicular homicide while DUI for an incident where he was backing up into a parking spot and ran over a 6-year-old girl, killing her.

Richard and Roseann DeRosa are hoping 'Deana's Law' can make substantive changes in the law so another family wont' have to go through the hell they are experiencing.

We spend a lot of time talking about the horrors of the opioid epidemic and the way it is ravaging so many families and communities.

Alcohol is a lot older problem. But it's just as deadly.
