It's official, the Phillies are in trouble

The Phillies might be the only folks around sorry to see the rain go away.

They finally got a chance to play yesterday after two straight rainouts in Washington.

And promptly lost both ends of a day-night doubleheader to the Nats.

Probably not the homecoming Bryce Harper was looking for.

And after a disappointing loss in Game 1, Gabe Kapler probably didn't need to see a lack of hustle from leadoff hitter Jean Segura in the nightcap that meant a single instead of a double.

This team is in trouble.

It lacks pitching. Pat Neshek is hurt again. You're stunned, I know.

And the hitting is still under water.

Not a good combination.
