The great gun debate revved up again this week in Harrisburg.
There is good news and bad news in the debate over what constitutes 'common-sense' legislation.
The House Judiciary Committee approved several pieces of legislation.
But the chairman made it clear he has no interest in the so-called 'red-flag' laws that would allow courts to temporarily take guns away from people who have been deemed a danger, either to themselves or others.
And he went a step further, saying the measure would not be brought up so long as he is chairman of the committee.
So much for common sense.
It's on today's editorial page.
