Eagles hit a new low in Dallas

Ouch!

Uh, how 'bout that Union!

Have the Phillies selected a new manager yet?

Oh, you wanted to talk about the Eagles?

Well, I will give you one play that pretty much sums up last night's prime-time debacle in Dallas.

It's the vision of Zeke Elliott and Malcolm Jenkins.

One on One.

Much like the rest of the game, this one was a mismatch.

Elliott steamrolled Jenkins.

Much like the Cowboys did to the Eagles in a 37-10 blowout that wasn't even that close.

Both teams came into the game 3-3, in the midst of a downspin. The Cowboys had last three straight. Clearly, they were the more desperate, more focused team last night. And they played like it.

The Eagles? They looked like they were going through the motions.

Coach Doug Pederson even tried to send them a message, saying on the radio that his team would be ready to play, would go down to Dallas and would win the game.

Did that team look like it was ready to play to you?

Pederson tried to change the Birds' habit of slovenly, slow starts by taking the ball after winning the coin toss.

That promptly blew up in his face when Dallas Goedert coughed up a fumble after catching a pass over the middle.

Crank up another slow start.

And the Eagles trailed off from there.

They were never in this game, and never gave an indication that they especially cared that they were getting blown out.

The Eagles now stand on the precipice of the abyss. They are staring into the kind of tailspin from which they can't recover.

Yeah, it was that bad.
