Change starts to roll over Media Courthouse

'The Process' has begun.

No, we're not talking about remaking the Sixers' roster.

We're talking about the remaking of the roster in the Delaware County Courthouse.

Just in case you have not heard, Democrats now rule the roost in Media after once again sweeping the municipal elections. They now have completely flipped Delaware County Council, winning all three seats on the ballot, giving them a 5-0 majority on council, the exact opposite of decades of 5-0 GOP rule.

They also took all four seats on the county Court of Common Pleas.

And they also seized control of the District Attorney's Office, when Jack Stollsteimer toppled incumbent Republican D.A. Kat Copeland.

Yesterday Stollsteimer started remaking the roster in his office, naming longtime Chester Police Chief Jim Nolan to head the county Criminal Investigation Division.

He also named Tanner Rouse as his first assistant district attorney.

You have to wonder what the mood is like in the courthouse. Last week Democrats announced a transition website, inviting the public to take part.

There are no doubt a lot of Republicans in the courthouse wondering exactly what the future holds for them.

No more snuggling up to your buddy GOP friend to get those cushy jobs lol . I cant wait to see them jumping ship to become Democrats lol.
