This is my idea of winter.
First things first: Yes, we got some snow overnight. Have you ever noticed as you are lying in bed that you can almost sense that it has snowed out? Part of it is literally in the sense of it being 'the white stuff.' Things appear lighter.
As far as I'm concerned, this is the perfect snowfall. And this is from someone who would be fine if it never snowed again.
There is a coating on grassy surfaces and trees.
You want your winter wonderland? You got it.
Less wondrous is the fact that you will have to brush off your car.
But that's the extent of it.
The roads are wet, but there is no snow covering. I just drove into the office and encountered exactly zero slick spots, regardless of what you will hear all morning on TV and radio.
So there you have it.
Now can we fast-forward to April?
