2-man race for Dems in Pa. 9th

It looks like it's down to a two-man race.

No, not Bernie vs. Joe.

Former Vice President Joe Biden had another big day on Super Tuesday, taking nine states, including Texas. Bernie Sanders took California.

But I'm not talking about the Democratic presidential sweepstakes.

This one is a little closer to home - like the 9th District Pa. Senate race.

Chester County attorney Robert McKinstry exited the Democratic race yesterday and offered his endorsement to Delaware County businessman Brett Burman, who also has the backing of the Chesco Dems. He will be opposed by longtime Delco labor leader John Kane, who picked up the endorsement of the Delaware County Dems.

The two of them will slug it out to see who will challenge longtime incumbent Sen. Tom Killion of Middletown in November.

This one will be one of the races to watch as Democrats continue to push the blue tsunami that sparked them to big gains in the Legislature last November.

The GOP still controls both chambers, but the Dems are narrowing the gap.

Keep an eye on this one.
