We have a winner!
We've done lots of stories on Delaware County folks appearing on all sorts of TV game shows and reality programs.
But we don't often feature someone who won the whole thing.
Serious kudos to Jim DiBattista. The resident of the Essington section of Tinicum Township took the grand prize - and the $100,000 first-p;ace check, on the USA Network show "The Biggest Loser."
Not only that, but DiBattista managed to shed 144 pounds along the way.
When he signed on for this project, DiBattista tipped the scales at 385 pounds. Today he's a lean, mean fighting machine at 241. Jim says the experience has changed his life.
